Remembrance Day is coming up shortly, a pivotal time to pause and remember those who have served our country and given their lives to help secure our freedom. Remembering is such a vital practice for so many areas of life. God’s instructions, as set forth in the Bible, are certainly worth remembering. We can even learn from those who failed to do it, like Lot’s wife. We will begin our service this Sunday with a solemn time of remembrance and placing of poppies in memory of loved ones. Following that reflective time we will hear a message from God’s Word addressing the need to remember, and specifically, remember Lot’s wife. Why is there value in remembering this unfortunate person from the pages of Scripture? Well, join us this Sunday at 10:45 am and find out!
